More about Leada Malek
Leada became interested in physical therapy through her experience playing volleyball growing up and having sustained some injuries herself. After studying sport science at the University of San Francisco and working as a Student Athletic Trainer, the concept of exercise as medicine lead her to become a physical therapist. Leada held internships in sports and orthopedic settings including Stanford University’s Sports Medicine Department where she helped care for collegiate athletes in a variety of sports including gymnastics, basketball, football, and lacrosse. If she were not a physical therapist, Leada would be a graphic designer or veterinarian.
